How DockFlow handles personal information.
This policy explains how DockFlow handles personal information through GetDockFlow.com, demo and contact requests, customer accounts, subscriptions, billing, support, and related business communications. It also explains what DockFlow does not collect by default from customer websites.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to GetDockFlow.com, demo requests, contact forms, email communications, customer accounts, subscription and billing administration, support, and other business interactions with DockFlow.
This policy is written for DockFlow’s own website and customer relationship. It is not a replacement for the privacy policy that each operator should maintain on its own website.

Customer websites and booking data
DockFlow may provide software that operators install or use on their own websites. When an operator uses that software to collect bookings, guest details, waivers, payments, passenger lists, schedules, notes, or other operational records, that information is collected by the operator through the operator’s own website and systems.
DockFlow does not collect or store guest booking data from customer websites on GetDockFlow.com by default. DockFlow only receives that type of information if a customer intentionally sends it to DockFlow for support, troubleshooting, onboarding, migration, or another agreed business purpose.
Operators are responsible for the privacy notices, consents, payment disclosures, waiver disclosures, and data practices on their own websites.
Information we collect
The information DockFlow collects depends on how you interact with us.
Website, demo, and contact information
When you request a demo, contact us, or ask a question, we may collect your name, work email, company or operation name, website, operation type, message, and related details you choose to provide.
Customer account information
When a customer creates or manages a DockFlow account, we may collect account user names, email addresses, company details, roles, login-related information, subscription status, and business contact information.
Billing and subscription information
We may collect information needed to manage plans, invoices, payments, renewals, receipts, taxes, and account administration. Full payment card details are handled by payment providers, not stored by DockFlow.
Support and business communications
If you contact us for support, onboarding, troubleshooting, partnerships, investor inquiries, or business questions, we may collect the information you provide in that communication, including screenshots or files you choose to send.
Technical and usage information
We may collect IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, log data, cookie identifiers, and similar information to operate, secure, measure, and improve the website and service.
Plugin or product administration data
If applicable, DockFlow may collect limited product administration information such as license status, account connection details, site URL, plugin version, error details, or diagnostic information needed to provide updates, support, security, and account services.
Information DockFlow does not collect by default
Because customer websites are operated by the customer, DockFlow does not collect or store the following from customer websites on GetDockFlow.com by default:
- guest booking records;
- guest profiles or passenger lists;
- waiver submissions or waiver signatures;
- customer payment card numbers;
- operator notes, manifests, schedules, or operational records from a customer website;
- messages or communications between an operator and its guests.
If a customer intentionally sends any of this information to DockFlow for support or another approved purpose, DockFlow uses it only for that purpose and handles it according to this policy and any applicable agreement.
How we use information
DockFlow uses personal information for clear business purposes, including to:
- respond to demo requests, contact messages, and business inquiries;
- create, authenticate, administer, and support customer accounts;
- manage subscriptions, billing, invoices, renewals, and account administration;
- provide onboarding, customer support, troubleshooting, and service communications;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve GetDockFlow.com and DockFlow product experiences;
- send product, security, legal, administrative, and business communications;
- measure website performance, understand interest in DockFlow, and improve content;
- protect against misuse, fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only where it is needed to operate DockFlow or where required by law, including with:
- service providers that help with hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, payment processing, billing, and business operations;
- authorized users within a customer account, according to their roles and permissions;
- payment providers, when needed to process subscriptions, invoices, refunds, taxes, and related records;
- professional advisors, insurers, auditors, accountants, or legal authorities where reasonably necessary;
- a successor organization if DockFlow is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
DockFlow may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand traffic, improve content, measure performance, and protect the service.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if certain cookies are disabled.
Payments and billing
When subscription or billing features are used, payment information may be handled by third-party payment processors. DockFlow is not designed to store full payment card numbers. Payment providers may process payment details according to their own privacy and security practices.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to inquiries, provide accounts, maintain business records, support customers, resolve disputes, protect security, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.
If a customer sends guest, booking, waiver, or operational information to DockFlow for support, we keep it only as long as reasonably needed for that support purpose, unless a longer period is required by law, security, dispute resolution, or an applicable agreement.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we work to keep security aligned with the sensitivity of the information and the nature of the service.
International processing
DockFlow and its service providers may process or store information in the United States, Canada, or other locations where our providers operate. When information is processed outside your region, it may be subject to the laws of that location. We take steps designed to use appropriate safeguards where required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, request portability, opt out of certain uses, or ask questions about how your personal information is handled.
If your information was collected by an operator on that operator’s own website, please contact that operator directly. DockFlow may not control the underlying guest, booking, waiver, payment, or operational record.

Marketing communications
If you receive marketing or product communications from DockFlow, you can unsubscribe or ask us to stop sending promotional messages. We may still send important service, security, legal, billing, or account-related messages where appropriate.
Children
DockFlow is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through GetDockFlow.com. Operators using DockFlow-related software are responsible for any age-related notices, consents, and requirements that apply to their own guests and activities.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DockFlow, our website, our product, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated through the website, product, or other reasonable channels.
